Since 2018, it has been my pleasure to serve the residents of the Town of Aurora as your municipal Councillor. As a municipal Councillor, I know first hand the bureaucracy that hinders putting shovels in the ground faster. I am also a member of the York Regional Police District 1 liaison committee and chair of Central York Fire Services, where I understand the services required to keep the community safe. My background in finance and managing a multi-million dollar budget will contribute to strengthening our economy and ensure our taxes are spent responsibly.

My proven track record has passed over 30 policies for the betterment of the community. My skills, knowledge and consensus building goes a long way in collaborating with all levels of government to get things done.

Continued key areas of focus in the community municipally are:

• Accommodate an ideal balance between development of attainable housing and preservation, while encouraging green development design standards.
• Increase economic development by attracting new industry opportunities, elevate and invest in our arts, culture, and sports tourism strategies, and continue to support our downtown community improvement initiatives.  
• Support climate adaptation and sustainability by advocating for more active transportation routes, green infrastructure,  and protect our natural capital assets.
• Continue to collaborate with other levels of government to gain access to grants and advocate for current issues that matter
